Early morning yoga. Sleeping in.
My two favorite ways to start the day are at odds with each other. So what’s a girl to do?
Yoga in bed!
It’s no morning workout, but indulging in a few postures in the warm hug of your still-toasty blankets makes for a yummy way to wake-up.
Allow your stimulation to come by sinking into each posture without hurry. To complement that early sleepy, un-stretched state, keep your fragrant morning breath steady and calm by breathing in and out of your nose.
No rush here, be easy and languid – feel free to keep your eyes closed and enjoy the feeling of treating yourself first thing in the morning.
Another great thing is that these poses are always good, all day long!
ps. apologies in advance to my mom and friends for the too-frequent flashes of pale butt.
